Planner / Scheduler
Reporting to the Senior Planner, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and modifying site maintenance strategies for all equipment and infrastructure on the site using the ARMS program OnePM.
In conjunction with strategies, you will be accountable and responsible for Masterdata changes and creation in SAP.
The role is based on an 8/6 roster, drive in drive out from Cloncurry or Mount Isa or fly in fly out from Townsville or Brisbane.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Extensive experience in planning and scheduling maintenance in mineral processing plants.
- Knowledgeable in strategy development and failure mode elimination.
- Adaptable to changing responsibilities as directed by management.
- Relevant technical trades or engineering qualifications.
- Manual driver’s license.
- Strong understanding of maintenance practices and standards.
- Expert in SAP, particularly SAP PM and Master Data objects.
You will be responsible for:
- Create and scope maintenance work orders for effective resource utilization, including personnel, contractors, and materials, while maintaining a 12-week look ahead.
- Build and communicate weekly work schedules, ensuring proper resourcing and capacity leveling.
- Ensure rescheduled work orders are included in the next available schedule.
- Prepare for and attend weekly planning meetings to ensure resource alignment.
- Review Notification comments for accurate field data collection.
- Continuously improve maintenance practices for better performance.
- Develop task lists for recurring work to support planning.
- Maintain site master data based on equipment strategy reviews and quality errors.
- Manage expenditure within budget and assist in maintenance budget development.
